About

Atlantic Council for Community and Social Enterprise

ACCSE advocates on behalf of organizations in Atlantic Canada that operate like a business, produce goods and services for the market, but manage operations and direct surpluses in pursuit of social, environmental and cultural goals.

We provide support to our members in three important areas:

  • policy recommendations to government that support entrepreneurial solutions for a people centred economy
  • management and financial capacity building for social enterprise organizations
  • create broad public awareness of the existing value of social enterprise in all communities in Atlantic Canada.

We are a volunteer driven, not for profit co-operative made up of members from across the four Atlantic Provinces.

Our Mission:

ACCSE exists to promote economic policies and enhance entrepreneurial opportunities for organizations whose primary purpose is to contribute to community wellbeing.
