The enp-NS Orientation Session is intended for staff, board members and volunteers of nonprofit organizations that are considering launching, expanding, strengthening, or are new to social enterprise. The workshop covers the definition and reasons for starting a social enterprise as well as demonstrating value and the social enterprise development path. There will be a review of the enp-NS grant requirements and priorities, and the session will qualify participating organizations to apply for enp funding.

Date and location: 9:00am to 4:00pm, February 23 at Park Place Theatre, Point Pleasant Drive, Halifax.

Registration fee: $50 for first organizational representative, $25 for each additional representative. Registration fee includes lunch and a copy of the Canadian Social Enterprise Guide.
